Users should be aware that most areas of the world’s oceans have not been fully surveyed and that the GEBCO bathymetry is an interpretation based on random track lines of data from many sources. The quality and coverage of data from these sources is highly variable. Information on accessing the latest versions of GEBCO’s data sets can be found on GEBCO’s website: www.gebco.net. |
